It lacks in expansion when compared to the hst.

While the cd is not loaded as hot.

Both are highly recommended.

Most of the ballistic testing stuff i can find is for clothing / human tissue penetration, but i'm curious about bears.

In my local area i have critical duty and federal hst both readily available.

Another of the interesting findings in our carry survey was the defensive ammo that people chose to use.

Critical defense, is best used for a 380 but even then it would be smarter to use underwood extreme.
