Dayton Wheel Conversion - maint

10x20 tires still available here but i just changed to tubeless.

Do you have an old trailer with dayton style (mobile home) hubs?

You can still get new dayton rims in the 22. 5 size for about 150 a piece, or you can find set of used.

I have a 1986 international s1600 with 9x20's right now.

Those have an inner wheel a spacer ring and an outer wheel.

I have looked at the offerings by accuride but the recommended.

Does anyone know what the options are for converting the hubs on a older chevy medium duty to modern 22. 5 wheels?

Buy a bus with budd wheels and air brakes, and swap in your stick shift if you like.

Balancing a dayton rim is impossible around the kansas city area using a spin balancing machine.

I can't seem to locate a suitable wheel based on a modern conversion.

This same conversion works for 15″.

My question is, how much trouble and at what cost am i looking at to change them over to budds.
