Webi have a part time retail job, and almost every position that's not a cashier or bagger has a requirement of being able to routinely lift at least 50, and up to 70+ pounds throughout.

There are very few items (aside from furniture) in a retail environment that realistically exceed 50 lbs.
Includes exercises like bench press, squat and deadlift.
Webthey are asking if you are physically capable of lifting 50 lbs occasionally.
Heavy weight and low reps for the former, more moderate weight and higher reps for the latter.
I specifically looked for a position that didn't mention being able to lift x lbs but it ended up having that requirement buried somewhere in the application.
