Paccar Mx 13 Loss Of Powerfav Events - maint

Iโve seen very mixed reviews on this engine, iโm looking.
Turn the ignition key on with the engine off, slowly press the fuel pedal down to the floor and then back up 3 to 4 times before.
Webi am having a power loss fault with my paccar mx 13 engine, i do not have any active code, the fault decreases considerably at night, any advice?
