Amazon announced wednesday it is raising wages for its hourly warehouse workers and adding a new employee perk.

Verkkoamazon is aware that paying its workers more is a good idea, with the research estimating that the labor pool grows by 7 percent for every dollar.

Verkkoamazon on wednesday said it is raising the average starting pay for its warehouse workers and delivery drivers to more than $19 an hour, up from $18.
